Postpartum Doula Services + Care
Kadie Lobo
Los Angeles County, California

I am so happy that you're taking the time to find the postpartum support that you deserve. My name is Kadie (she/her) and I am an experienced caretaker and a DONA-trained postpartum doula. Becoming a doula wasn't something that I was always interested in... It wasn't until I became a mother myself that I realized how truly important it is to have a village of support as a parent.
My philosophy as a doula is to offer completely inclusive and nonjudgmental emotional, physical and educational support to the entire family regarding infant care and the postpartum period. My role is non-medical and non-clinical, but I am trained to become the bridge to such services if needed. My job is to educate but ultimately, I'm here to support your decisions. I want you to believe in yourself and to trust your own instincts as a new parent.
If you have any questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am currently serving Los Angeles County and the surrounding areas both in-person + virtually.

Technically, no. The role of the doula is non-medical and non-clinical but we are trained to refer our clients out to appropriate services if needed. A “baby nurse” is typically a licensed medical professional.

We can significantly ease the transition into the “fourth trimester” or the postpartum period. We support you with: birth person’s care, infant care, feeding/bathing/sleep education, basic home maintenance and organization, home cooked meals & lastly and most importantly, we provide a listening ear and a loving heart. The fourth trimester can be hard and you deserve as much emotional and physical support as possible.
